West African Music Events

I fell in love with West African music after listening to The Rough Guide to West African Gold borrowed from the Seattle Library. It was obvious to me that West African music is best heard live, and I have been attempting to find my favourite artists in any city closest to me. Unfortunately, they are quite hard to track.

This is an attempt to gather where my favourite bands and artists from West Africa are performing. These are the artists I am tracking:

I am gathering the information from their official websites, Myspace accounts, Facebook pages, and event tracking websites. It is possible that the information here might not be correct. Is there an artist or a band that I should add to this site? Do let me know.
